GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Black & Gold continue to roll as the Bruins win their third-straight dropping the Panthers this time around 2-1.
- Tim Thomas made 25-saves to earn his third straight win and improve his December record to 4-2-2. Other than a first-period "soft goal" Thomas was
- Michael Ryder scored his 10th goal of the season to put the Bruins on the board in the 2nd-period.
- Marco Sturm scored his team leading 11th goal of the season early in the 3rd-period to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead and ultimately the win.
- Ference, Wheeler, Savard and Wideman each recorded an assist during the game.
- Stick salute to Dan Paille who was one of the Bruins best players all game long, skating end-to-end, crashing the net and taking advantage of every opportunity given to him. Paille deserved a goal yesterday.
- Boston went 0-for-2 on the man advantage and killed off all 3 of their shorthanded situations.
- Stevey Begin led the team with 5-hits on the night (Big Z was a close second with 4-hits of his very own).
- Boston has gone 6-3-2 so far in December with two-games remaining/
- The Bruins are back in action tonight in Tampa Bay against the Lightning.
