The Bruins "Trade Threat Level" has been lowered just a day after being raised to it's highest level. This comes after the Boston Herald started rumors of a possible "blockbuster" trade involving Marc Savard. Now, just two days later the Herald is pulling a 180 and reporting that a Savard trade is highly unlikely, although not ruling out other possible trades.
"We’re not looking to trade Marc Savard," said Chiarelli, who didn’t rule out other deals. "There’s a chance. I’m looking to improve the team. I’ve had a couple of discussions, more than a couple." -GM Peter Chiarelli
The "Trade Threat Level" will remain at "High" as rumors of Phil Kessel and other possible key players still linger.
